Instructor with 17+ years in the workforce welding industry and(AWS) American Welding Society certifications.
A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to join or cut metal surfaces. Individuals will receive training and be tested in Flux-Cored Metal Arc Welding along with introduction to welding symbols. Upon successful completion of this program, the student will have passed at up to 15 tests as well as visual, guided bend tests. All AWS-Certifications will be proctored by a third party Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). Must have a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 16 to hold the class. Classes will be held 4 nights a week for 3 hours. Tuition includes supplies, tool kit, lab fees and certification cost.
A High School/HSE Diploma required or must be enrolled in an HSED program.
Steel toe or leather boots are required.
Two weeks prior to class start date.
