We have small classes and no lecture halls. Because of this, our instructors are able to get to students on a one-on-one basis. We are able to employ a variety of teaching styles to enable all students to take full advantage of our program’s opportunities.
We promote an “active” learning environment which means students will be active participates in their classroom endeavors. Students complete crime scene investigations, forensic analysis, and practice interviewing/interrogation strategies as part of their coursework. Our forensics lab, which will be housed in the university’s new academic center beginning in August 2014, provides students with real world experience in the area of criminal investigation.
