The faculty is comprised of volunteers with knowledge or experience in the following areas; woodworking, job readiness, and discipleship. A minimum credential is not required to be part of the program faculty.
A program that generally prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to lay out and shape stock; assemble wooden articles or subassemblies; mark, bind, saw, carve, and sand wooden products; repair wooden articles, and use a variety of hand and power tools. As part of the programing we also provide job readiness training on the following topics; the valuee of work, attitude, communication skills, reliability, quality work, initiative, dress & grooming, being a humble learner, and promotability. Our discipleship training focuses on the following areas prayer, positive relationships, forgiveness, scripture, and faith.
There are no prerequisites.
