This course provides students with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification at the end of the class. Students will learn to lead a Lean Six Sigma project team. Candidates will learn the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) Six Sigma problem solving process. In addition to training modules on each of the DMAIC phases, training will include modules on Lean methodologies and Leadership. The course includes instructor lecture, numerous practical exercises, and participation as a member of a team in class. Successful completion of the course requires attendance and active participation each day, passing a Lean Six Exam conducted in class, and completion of a simulated Six Sigma project as a member of an in-class team.
