The skill that will be taught in this training will be valuable in applying for jobs with roofing companies. The labor job pays well and is a very important position in the production. The Objective: To show roof laborers of the importance of their job and to show them how to provide value in the roofing project thru the quality of their work. To condition Roof Laborers of the expectation to lift 50lbs+ and supply materials to installers upon demand. Roof laborers are occasionally required to assist with various tasks such as holding the end of materials for proper installation or measurement. The Laborers’ job is to keep the environment safe from trip hazards or potential punctures and cuts. Responsibilities A roofing Laborer is primarily responsible to follow the directions of the foreman to perform material handling, loading/unloading of trucks and general labor activities to assist with providing a safe and quality roof installation.
