Students will have 160 hours of training, which prepares the student to become a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holder. 121 hours of operating observation/lab classroom, 30- hours of behind-the-wheel skill development. This course provides a fundamental working knowledge of the varied aspects of the trucking industry. It prepares students for an entry-level position as a tractor-trailer driver with a trucking company. Students will become familiar with the rules and regulations governing the industry and experiencing hands-on driving techniques designed to prepare them to pass the written successfully and practical portions of the State of Indiana's Class A CDL test.
