Must be a Registered Nurse with certification from the state of Indiana for QMA education. Must have current CPR certification as well.,
QMA covers both the systems didactics and clinical application of medication administation. The role of the QMA involves administering both prescription and non prescription medication to the patients and then observing their reactions. Direct report is made to the licensed nurse. The core of the QMA is that theywill be an active CNA with recent practice. This allows the QMA to be far more comprehensive in delivery of care tfor our residents of Indiana.
Must have 1000 worked hours as a CNA in Indiana. Must have a minimal Federal criminal background. Must have a step 2 TB test results. Must have HS diploma or GED.
Applcation deadlines are one week before scheduled monthly classes.
