Bachelors Degree Business
GOLD SACA C-201
This course prepares students to connect, adjust, operate, troubleshoot, and analyze electrical circuits using basic electrical components: resistors, capacitors, inductors, DC motors, solenoids, manual switches, relays, fuses, circuit breakers, transformers, and indicators. The students will learn the fundamentals of AC and DC electrical systems used for power and control in industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential applications. Other key skills include: adhering to electrical safety rules, reading electrical circuit diagrams, applying Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s Law, using digital multimeters, interpreting series/parallel circuits, and assessing power/circuit protection. Students will complete hands-on labs with Amatrol’s 990-ACDC1 trainer, virtual simulations, projects, and critical thinking assignments to help prepare for the silver and gold SACA C-201 Electrical Systems 1 certification exam
There is no application deadline at this time, it is an open enrollment. Programs will begin as a cohort is developed.
