The minimum credentials held by the program faculty is 18 credits hours.
An lndyGo Apprenticeship Program graduate (Journeyperson) successfully completing the Transit Bus Technician Apprenticeship Program and awarded the Completion Certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor - journeyperson certification Crosswalk-Workplace Learning Credit -24 credits of approved lndyGo Corporationinternal training awarded toward the Diesel Technology Program (TC), per crosswalk document named "Bus MaintenanceTechnician Apprenticeship Program". Refer to attached documents for details of the crosswalk and apprentice expectations.
High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. A valid driver’s silence is required. US citizen and or legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Must obtain a commercial driver’s license at the age (of 21) twenty-one. Ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license within six (6) months of hire. Pass the current HR aptitude test(s)
