Department of Labor electro-mechanic through RAPIDS program
Primary Goal of the program is to develop a highly skilled maintenance workforce to meet current and future needs of the plants. This is achieved by providing: •Consistency of training at all plant locations. •Structured application process to enter the program. •A method to change training as new equipment and technology is introduced in industry
Potential apprentice must take a proctored mechanical aptitude test through Ramsey system and recieve a passing grade of at least 50%,interview with local JATC Committe.
