The goal of the program is to have all instructors that are licensed teachers. The minimum requirement is an industry credential, an Electrician license with 6 years of experience in the industry.

The program prerequisites: 1) Ability to pass a 10 panel drug screen and a criminal background check 2) Completion of all required vaccinations, including Covid-19, by week 9. 3) Tabe testing results of level M4 for reading and math 4) Participation in an placement interview to discuss success planning, program expectations, and commitments.

Applications are accepted from May 1 to July 31 for the fall semester and from October 1 to January 1 for the spring semester at adulted.info/career. Classes are seated in August (fall) and January (spring) after completion of application, testing, and committee interview.  Please know that classes are seated on a competitive basis for candidates that meet screening standards.  We encourage early applications to help ensure all documents are submitted and testing and interviews are completed by the deadline.
