The assistance programs provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in an office.  The curriculum for an assistance program typically includes courses in anatomy, radiology, materials, infection control, and chairside assisting. Students will also receive hands-on training in procedures such as taking impressions, preparing materials, and assisting during procedures. The goal of these programs is to prepare students for entry-level positions as  assistants. Graduates of these programs may work in private practices, clinics, or hospitals.
