AMPT (Advanced Manufacturing Production Technician) is a composite of topics designed for onboarding purposes and client training in conjunction with industry partners that incorporate the following by Ivy Tech: Safety, OSHA 10, CPR, Injury Prevention, Fire prevention, hazard communication, and PPE and battery safety. Along with Tool and Machine Safety, Material Handling Safety, Warehouse Workflow, and Standard Operating Procedures.
This class is the first of four, focused on tool and machine safety, resulting in a CPT certification for Safety.
