All instructors have four or more years of experience in field along with industry certifications and credentials.

The Information Technology Manager program prepares students for various industry certifications as well as prepares them for a career as an Information Technology Manager. During the program students will get a full understanding of what it takes to become an Information Technology Manager learning both theory and practical based skills focused on project and technical application needed for the position. Students will learn about the various aspects of project management, time management, cost and control management, networking fundamentals, network standards, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The core program covers the following industry certifications Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and CompTIA Network+.

Project Management Fundamentals
This instructor-led course focuses on introducing participants to the practical basics of project management. Students will learn about where projects come from, types of projects, initiation, how to build a project plan, create a budget, and more. This course is registered with the Project Management Institute (PMI) allowing students to earn the required contact hours and/or PDUs.

Cisco Certified Network Associate
The CCNA 200-301 training course gives you a broad range of fundamental knowledge for all IT careers. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, and self-study, you will learn how to install, operate, configure, and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The course covers configuring network components such as switches, routers, and wireless LAN controllers; managing network devices; and identifying basic security threats. The course also gives you a foundation in network programmability, automation, and software-defined networking.

CompTIA Network+
This ten-week training program is designed to help you learn the fundamentals of networks and prepare for the Network+ certification exam. This exam and its components provide a ground-level understanding of computer networking and all that it entails. This certification is excellent for anyone wishing to be involved in information technology. Today’s organizations are all operating within computer networks either confined to a single location or spanning multiple locations. In addition, all organizations today are connected to the Internet in some capacity using various methods. You will learn about the individual components that make up these networks how to install and configure them, how to secure them, and how to troubleshoot them.

  • Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED (Graduate Educational Development) or a homeschool state issued certificate to be accepted into Medcertify.com. This can be evidenced by a copy of the high school diploma, a transcript, official GED certificate, or a signed attestation.
  • Prospective students must submit an application for enrollment and sign an enrollment agreement.
