The welding teacher is a certified teacher, and he teaches the high school student's welding course, too. He also holds credentials from the American Welding Society.
Classes are held at Plymouth High School's Welding room, twice per week for approximately 7 weeks. Each class is three hours in length with a classroom instruction time of about 40 minutes followed by hands on welding instruction for just over two hours. Class size is limited to 10 students, so the instructor can have ample opportunity to spend with each student which will include 1 to 1 time in the welding booth, hand over hand instruction and feedback.
Basic English skills such as: stop, don't touch that, is required, but we also provide translation services to help our Spanish speaking students.The course is hands on.
