Qualifications of Instructors:

The instructor must hold an active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) per state requirements.
The instructor must complete the required Train the Trainer Course and obtain a Certificate of Completion per state requirements.

Program Description:

Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who assist with providing certain medications and treatments for minor health conditions to residents of a long term care or assisted living facility. QMA's work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
