Catapult Indiana is a training that focuses on the entry-level skills and competencies required for a career in advanced manufacturing. The program consists of 160 hours of classroom instruction covering relevant theory, hands-on training with tools and equipment, and simulations. This advanced manufacturing standardized work training covers nine primary topics with equal focus on theory and lab/simulation in production fundamentals. Training includes Pre and Post-test evaluations conducted during class sessions with a 70% pass rate needed for a certificate of completion.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants are eligible for academic crosswalks into INDT 106 and ADMF 201, for 6 college credits upon registration for a degree program with Ivy Tech. Participants are paid for their time spent in classroom-based training for the 160 hours of training at $10.00 per hour, subsidized by local companies with the commitment of an internship.

Note: Students must be admitted as degree-seeking at Ivy Tech Community College to receive credit for prior learning; meaning, they earn the industry recognized certification in the non-credit training and can request academic credit once they are admitted as a degree seeking student. Displayed pricing is for skills training courses only, as students incur additional tuition and fees for credit courses.
