The CDA Credential Class will be taught by a qualified instuctor with at least one of the following three qualifications: Master's degree in Early Childhood or Special Education with 3 years of experience in an early childhood setting; Master's degree in a related education field with a CDA certification; or Master's degree in a related field with 3 years teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
Parke Vermillion Adult Ed (PVAE) is partnering with Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children (INAEYC) with this CDA Non-Formal Credential program. Students will participate virtually with their CDA instructor two nights per week and on-site at PVAE with their CDA instructor and a PVAE Adult Educator. While on-site, students will learn workforce skills via the WIN Essential Soft Skills platform.
Qualifiying participants must presently be employed and working 25 hours per week in an early childhood or daycare setting.
