Related Training Instruction will be provided by Ivy Tech instructors.
On the Job Learning component will be supervised by a Journey Level mentor.
Program is a DOL Registered Apprenticeship for a Tool Maker occupation. The program requires 750 contact hours of Related Training Instruction and leads to an Associates Degree through Ivy Tech Community College. Also, the program requires 6,000 to 8,000 hours of On the Job Learning experience overseen by a Journey Level mentor.
Participants have to be hired by approved employers prior to applying for the program. Participants can begin apprenticeship program at any time.
