This course is designed to equip participants with essential skills for success in Building and Property Management, integrating technical competencies with critical soft skills that enhance employability. Students will develop professional capabilities in effective communication, interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, critical thinking, collaboration, and career readiness. Alongside these foundational skills, the course offers hands-on training in carpentry essentials, including framing, hanging doors and windows, and constructing partitions. Participants will gain practical experience in installing and performing preventative maintenance on insulation, siding, and roofing, as well as mastering trim installation, drywall techniques, and painting fundamentals. The curriculum also addresses important safety considerations, ADA compliance, on-site preventative maintenance, and the diagnosis of basic appliance and HVAC issues, providing a comprehensive foundation for a successful career in property management.
