BDW Clean Energy Apprenticeship Program with the Occupation of a Residential Wireman - Offers structured, paid, on-the-job training combined with related technical instruction to equip apprentices with the skills and certifications needed to succeed in the renewable energy sector. Our program will serves both career pathways into the electrical and the solar industries. 

Our program also provides - Certifications: NABCEP PV Solar Installation Professional (PVIP)

Credentials: NABCEP PV Solar Associate (PVA), Energy Storage Associate, Utility-Scale PV Distribution, NFPA 70E for Qualified Persons, OSHA10, OSHA30; CPR/1st Aid; Lock Out/Tag Out and Fall Protection.  

Our electrical program is designed to equip apprentices with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to install, operate, maintain, and repair electrical systems. Training covers residential wiring, and apprentices receive instruction in electrical theory, wiring methods, safety protocols, Energy Star-rated household appliances, residential LED lighting, residential electrical panel & circuit breakers upgrades, residential smart thermostats installations, electrical wiring for HVAC heat pumps, job estimation, electrical testing and inspection, and compliance with industry codes and standards. NCCER Core, NCCER Electrical Level 1 and NCCER Electrical Level 2.

Our solar program is also designed to equip apprentices with the the skills needed for a successful career in the solar industry. Apprentices will develop a strong understanding of solar PV fundamentals, including system components, safety protocols, and industry regulations like NFPA 70E and OSHA standards. Hands-on training will cover solar panel installation, wiring, inverters, troubleshooting, and performance analysis. The program prepares apprentices for NABCEP PV Associate and NABCEP PV Installation Professional certifications, enhancing their industry credentials. Training also includes energy storage systems, grid integration, and utility-scale solar project development.

Applicants must pass the Aptitude Test with a 70% (10 Questions-Practice Sessions Available 24/7 - Prior to Aptitude Test)
