Description

Instructors must hold a CPR/AED & FIRST AID  Instructor certification from the American Heart Association, red cross, or equivalent nationally recognized body. All instructors must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the occupational safety,healthcare, or public safety is preferred.

The cpr & Health and Safety Technician registered Apprenticeship program  prepares individuals for life-saving response roles in schools, workplaces and emergency settings. This hybrid training includes CPR/AED, First Aid, OSHA-aligned safety education, and public health emerency awareness. Students graduate with nationally recognized certifications and are equipped for careers in healthare, public safety, community response,and entry-level emergency technician pathways.

Students must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions. A high school diploma or ged is required to earn national certification. No previous medical training is required.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. New cohorts start monthly. Applicants are encourgaged to apply 2 weeks prior to the preferred start date to aloow processig and orientation.
