Experience Equivalency: Verificable experience as a licensed nail technician or salon owner to substitute for a portion, or even all, of the required training hours is required.

Experience working as a licensed nail technician before becoming an instructor. Requires between two to five years.

• Age: While the minimum age to enroll in a nail technician program require applicants to be 17, 18 years or older.
• Require a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) for enrollment and subsequent licensure. We may offer provisional enrollment to participants still working towards their GED, provided they complete it before graduating from the program.
• Health Requirements: Certain health considerations are important for nail technicians due to the physical demands and potential exposure to chemicals in the profession. 

PHPN Advanced Nail Technician Program offers rolling admissions with new classes starting every 3 months. While these aren't explicitly stated application deadlines, it's generally advisable to apply well in advance of the program start date to allow for the admissions processing and holiday observations.
