Level 1 certification through IEC
The Independent Electrical Contractors Apprenticeship Program is a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship that prepares individuals for careers as licensed electricians. This four year, time-based program combines 8000 hours of paid on-the-job training with a minimum of 576 hours of classroom-based instruction. Apprentices learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The curriculum aligns with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and is developed in partnership with industry to meet employer needs.
