Master’s degree (preferred) for lead instructors or advanced modules.

Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience in retail management, merchandising, or operations.
Demonstrated experience in:
Store operations and leadership
Inventory management and merchandising strategies
Staff supervision and customer service excellence
E-commerce, omnichannel retail, or digital merchandising
3?? Professional Certifications (optional but recommended)
Certified Retail Management Professional (CRMP)
Certified Merchandising Professional (CMP)
Leadership or management certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Retail Leadership Training
4?? Teaching or Training Competency
Experience teaching or mentoring adult learners in retail, business, or management programs.
TOT (Training of Trainers) certification preferred for workforce programs.
Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills to translate theory into actionable skills.
The Retail Leadership & Merchandising Manager program is an intensive, practical training designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge required to excel in today’s dynamic retail environment. Over the course of the program, learners gain expertise in store leadership, merchandising strategies, inventory management, customer experience optimization, and team supervision.
Participants will also explore e-commerce and omnichannel retail practices, ensuring they are prepared for both traditional and digital retail management roles. Graduates will be ready to step into entry- to mid-level retail management positions, providing immediate value to employers and creating pathways for advancement into corporate retail leadership or merchandising specialist roles.
