The Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) program at Magnolia Blossom Health Services Institute prepares students to become vital members of today’s healthcare teams by providing the administrative and clerical expertise required to keep medical offices and healthcare facilities running efficiently. This comprehensive program blends professional communication, office procedures, medical terminology, and healthcare technology to develop the essential skills needed for front-office operations in hospitals, clinics, and physician practices.
Students will learn to manage patient scheduling, maintain electronic health records (EHR), process insurance claims, handle billing and coding documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, accuracy, and patient-centered service.
Graduates of the program will be fully prepared to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam to become a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) and pursue in-demand positions such as medical office assistant, patient services representative, or medical records coordinator.
