Program faculty must hold a current and active Indiana Cosmetology Instructor License or equivalent instructional credential recognized by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA).

Instructors are required to have professional cosmetology licensure, documented industry experience, and demonstrated competency in instructional delivery, student supervision, and compliance with state cosmetology education standards. Continuing education and ongoing professional development are required to maintain instructional quality and regulatory compliance.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Applicants must meet minimum age requirements, which is 16years of age established by state cosmetology regulations. No prior cosmetology experience is required.

All applicants complete an intake and orientation process to assess readiness for attendance, professionalism, and commitment to program completion.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Enrollment is cohort-based, and start dates are scheduled throughout the year based on cohort availability and capacity. Applicants are encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for admissions processing, orientation, and funding eligibility determination when applicable.
