Current PMP Certification
Must hold an active Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Certification must be in good standing and maintained through PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program.
Documented Project Management Experience
Demonstrated professional experience leading and directing projects consistent with PMI standards.
Experience across one or more industries (e.g., IT, healthcare, construction, manufacturing, finance, etc.) preferred.
Adult Instruction / Training Experience
Prior experience delivering instructor-led training, corporate training, workforce development training, or higher education instruction.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and exam preparation strategies.
Knowledge of Current PMI Exam Content Outline (ECO)
Must demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of PMI’s current PMP Exam Content Outline and testing domains (People, Process, Business Environment).
Ability to teach predictive, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies as reflected in the current PMP exam.
Professional Communication Skills
Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional delivery skills suitable for classroom or virtual environments.
The ONLC PMP® Exam Prep Program is an instructor-led course designed to prepare experienced project professionals to pass the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam. The program provides the required 35 contact hours of project management education and aligns with PMI’s current Exam Content Outline, covering People, Process, and Business Environment domains, including predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches.
What distinguishes this program is that tuition includes one year of PMI membership and the cost of the PMP certification exam (one attempt). This bundled model reduces upfront costs and provides participants with valuable PMI resources and professional benefits while preparing them for certification success.
Project Management Experience (Recommended / Required for Exam Eligibility) While the prep course itself does not require prior certification, participants are strongly encouraged to meet or be close to meeting PMI’s eligibility requirements for the PMP exam:
Option 1 (Bachelor’s Degree or Higher):
36 months of experience leading projects within the past 8 years
Option 2 (High School Diploma or Associate Degree):
60 months of experience leading projects within the past 8 years
Educational Requirement for PMP Exam Eligibility
Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate degree, or global equivalent) OR
Four-year degree (bachelor’s or global equivalent)
Basic Professional Skills
Proficiency in English (exam is administered in English, though language aids may be available)
Basic computer skills for accessing course materials and completing online practice exams
Ability to participate in instructor-led training (virtual or classroom)
Professional Background (Recommended)
Current or prior role involving project coordination, team leadership, operations, IT, construction, healthcare administration, or related fields
Familiarity with workplace project environments
Commitment to Study
Willingness to complete required contact hours (35 hours of formal project management education, which this course provides)
Dedication to independent study outside of scheduled instruction
Enrollment in the PMP Exam Prep Program does not guarantee eligibility to sit for the PMP exam. Final eligibility is determined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) upon application review.
Our PMP Program is offerend on a monthly basis, so if a student misses one month, they can apply for the next month.
