Program facutly will have a minimum of 20 years experience, be an LPN or RN, and have 5+ years in educational experience.
This program is a career pathway program for students wanting to get into the Medical field. It is a 200 hour course that will train students how to become Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and prepare them for their National Healthcareer Association CCMA exam. They will learn how to complete patient intake, blood draws, vaccinations, set up for medical procedures, take patient vitals, patient labs, billing and coding, front office, medical acrynyms, and anatomy. They will gain additional knowlege through their hands-on clinical experiences provied to them through our medical partnerships with local medical facilities and other schools. Once students complete and pass the program and their CCMA certification exam, they are able to begin working in the field.
If students do not have a High School Diploma prior to taking their certification exam, they will hold a provisional Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification until they are able to obtain their High School Diploma.
