The lead facilitator oversees instructional content, content updates, and adminstration. The lead facilitator must be an experienced person who is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt. Our lead facilitators also have training and development credentials OR 10 years of actual training and development experience. The lead instructor may oversee additional instructors who must be Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
The Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate is an entry-level training program that builds foundational problem-solving, critical thinking, and workforce readiness skills that are immediately applicable across industries. Participants learn how to define problems clearly, identify root causes, collect and interpret basic data, and implement simple, effective solutions using a structured approach. The training introduces key Six Sigma concepts and tools in a practical, easy-to-understand way, making it accessible for both professionals and students.
This program is designed for employees who want to improve how work gets done within their teams, whether they are in professional roles, skilled trades, or service-based positions. The goal is to make work better, faster and more impactful. Our program is also well-suited for high school juniors who are preparing to enter the workforce or pursue postsecondary education, as it builds confidence, communication skills, and the ability to think through real-world challenges. Participants engage in hands-on activities and interactive exercises that reinforce learning and encourage immediate application. Our training program includes several activities. Examples include: puzzles, scrabble pieces, Post-It Notes, Gallery Walks, and more. We include a participant guide and activity worksheets to keep participants engaged while learning. Interactive questions and group discussion ensure participants have time to reflect on the Six Sigma concepts and document actionable steps they can take to implement.
By the end of the program, participants are equipped to contribute to team-based problem solving, support process improvements, and bring a structured, solution-oriented mindset to their work or future careers. The Yellow Belt serves as a strong foundation for continued skill development and advancement into higher-level roles or certifications, while also delivering immediate value to employers through improved efficiency, teamwork, and decision-making.
