All faculty members at JD Esthetic School Of Beauty Culture are required to possess the appropriate licensure, industry knowledge, professional experience, and instructional qualifications necessary to effectively educate and prepare students for successful careers in the beauty and esthetics industry.
At minimum, instructional faculty must possess:
?? A current and active Indiana professional license in their area of instruction
?? A valid Indiana Instructor License (when applicable according to state requirements)
?? Practical industry experience within the beauty, esthetics, cosmetology, or nail industry
?? Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and infection control standards
?? Demonstrated competency in both theory and practical instruction
?? Professional communication and classroom management skills
Preferred qualifications may include:
- Advanced certifications
- Medical esthetics experience
- Spa or salon management experience
- Entrepreneurship/business experience
- Continuing education training
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience
