This program prepares adult learners (18+) to enter the skilled trades as entry-level welders across MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Stick (SMAW) processes, culminating in the nationally recognized OSHA-10 Certification and the AWS Certified Welder (CW) credential from the American Welding Society. The curriculum is delivered through a standardized Welding Technology module sequence (Modules WLD-101–WLD-108), supplemented by Skilled US Essentials and Employability Soft Skills pre-training workshops, and individualized 1:1 coaching.
The program is delivered Monday–Friday, 4 hours a day over 6–8 weeks of in-person lab instruction in a welding shop environment. Two sessions are available: Session 1 (12:00 PM–4:00 PM) and Session 2 (4:30 PM–8:30 PM), allowing participants to choose a schedule that fits their commitments. Weekly 1:1 coaching supplements hands-on lab time (2 hrs). The OSHA-10 completion and AWS Certified Welder practical performance qualification serve as the Measurable Skill Gain (MSG) indicator for WIOA Title II reporting.
