Bachelor's degree, teaching license, CDL-A license

To qualify for the course, applicants will complete a questionnaire which determines elegibility.

Those who are eligiblen must take a pretest which shows level of Language Arts and Math abilities.  Applicants not meeting the NRS level epectations must effectiely complete remediattion and meet qualifying levels on a posttest.

Eligible applicants who have done this and who have their Indiana CDL permit, DOT physical, can back up a semi 200 feet, and drive a manual transmission, will be placed in a FAST TRACK component of the course.

Eligible applicants who meet the academic requirements, but lack the driving skills for FAST TRACK will be placed in the longer component of the course.

Application to the program is open year round.  If no openings are available at the time of application, eligible applicants will be placed on a waiting list.  The length of time on the waiting list will be determined by the number of qualified appicants on that list.
