Registered Nurses that have been approved by the State of Indiana
The CNA program consists of classroom and clinical experiences. The student will be trained in providing basic care to patients in exteded care facilities and hospitals. Basic skills taught in this course are: basic care for patients, understanding of medical terminology, following proper safety regulations, observing patients, reporting incidents regarding patients and attending to some patient requirements, needs or requests. All students that successfully complete the program are qualified to sit the the Indiana State Department of Health CNA licensure exam.
Back ground checks are required. Anyone with a felony conviction is not accepted. Must pass drug test, TB test and Physical.
