Program is one evening class, 3 hours of online homework and on-the-job learning hours. This provides the student the ability to work full time in the Construction Trade as an apprentice to collect their on the job learn hours. Our apprenticeship program which also provides credits for an Associate Degree from Vincennes University. Your 1st year you will also earn First Year Certifications will include OSHA 10; CPR/1st Aid; Lock Out/Tag Out; Fall Protection and 3 types of Lifts. Our program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to lay out, cut, fabricate, erect, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, using hand and power tools. Includes instruction in technical mathematics, framing, construction materials and selection, job estimating, blueprint reading, foundations and roughing-in, finish carpentry techniques, and applicable codes and standards.
