Certified MT, MLT, or Phlebotomist with 3 - 5 years of experience.
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to perform all procedures by an entry-level Phlebotomist. The student will gain knowledge of venipunctures and dermal punctures of adults, children, infants, and geriatric patients. The student will also learn about specimen handling, safety, and ethical and professional behavior. The course consist of 68 hours of classroom instruction and a minimum of 120 hours of clinical experience at local full service hospital laboratory.
High school diploma/ GED.
