The Phlebotomy Technician Certification Prep course is an intensive, competency-based program that prepares students to sit for a national credential: NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam. Through integrated classroom instruction, simulation labs, and supervised clinical practice, learners master venipuncture and capillary collection techniques; apply CDC and OSHA infection-control standards; and develop the professional communication, documentation, and specimen-handling skills required in hospitals, outpatient labs, physician offices, and blood-donor centers. Successful graduates emerge ready to perform high-quality blood collections, contribute to accurate diagnostic testing, and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and behaviors expected of an entry-level phlebotomy technician.
