***Students must be able to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug screen and obtain their CDL-A permit (general knowledge, air brake and combo) before entering class***. Students 22+ years of age Candidates can be 18-21 years of age to get their CDL– However for insurance purposes they cannot be employed until they are 21 because they can only drive intrastate (only in the state they live in). Anyone who wishes to attend our training program at 18-21 years of age will be required to provide funding on their own and employment is contingent on performance. Candidates must have and hold a valid Class D Operators License issued out of the state KY/IN for at least 1 full year. Ability to read, write and communicate in English No DUI/DWI within 3 years- No more than (2) total in lifetime No felonies or misdemeanors in the past 3-5 years No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years. Students with reckless driving Etc./ leaving the scene of an accident on MVR will have to be reviewed by safety team before being accepted.
