The instructors for the for the CNA portion of the program must be a registered or licensed practical nurse licensed and in good standing in the State of Indiana. They must have a minimum of two years of licensed nursing experience and previous experience teaching or training adults. Customer service instructors must have two years of precious teaching or training experience along with the IBTA Customer Service Certification.
The JobWorks Education and Training Systems Certified Nurse Aide Program is the most comprehensive nurses assistant program currently being offered. This dual certification program will prepare students as beginning level nurse aides with the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Individuals who successfully complete the CNA portion of the training are eligible to apply and sit for the ISDH certification exam for nursing aides. This course meets the minimum standards set forth by the ISDH for Certified Nursing Aides training. Our program alsoprovides the customer services skills required of nurses aides. The customer service modules will be delivered by JobWorks Education and Training Systems (JETS) and will provide the foundation for quality customer service skills and focuses on building relationships by developing effective customer care strategies in a patient centered, healthcare environment. Upon successful completion of the customer service portion, students will earn the International Business Training Assoc. (IBTA) Customer Service CertificationJETS will partner with Rosewalk Village deliver the CNA classroom and clinical portion of the training program. Rosewalk Village Lafayette is a Nurse Aide Program site of AmericanSenior Communites (ASC) Training Center. The ASC Training Center is an ISDHapprovedNurse Aide and QMA Training Program. Thefacility number is 013238. Rosewalk Lafayette clinical number is000051. Upon successful completion of this unique CNA program, graduates will receive immediate job offers from Rosewalk Village as entry level CNA's.
