Doctor ofNursing Practice (DNP)
The Qualified Medication Aide is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) responsible for administering daily medication to residents in Assisted Living, Hospice, and Long Term Care Facilities in the State of Indiana. Also referred to as Medical Aide Technicians in other States, their duties include monitoring patients, reporting changes to the nurse, performing minor skin treatments, and collecting samples.
Applicants must be 18 years of age. Must have a High school Diploma or GED Have a current Indiana CNA (Proof on ISDH Registry) Proof of 1,000 hours of CNA trainingApplicants must have a personal interview with school personnel. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license or State ID. Applicants must pass a Background check/screening Applicants must have a current TB test &Health clearance signed by a Healthcare provider
