The instructor will possess the credential earned in the program in addition to at least ten years of work experience in the field.
OJT Trainer Workshops provide essential knowledge to enable fully-competent and productive on-the-job trainers. This one-day workshop is intended for company trainers, supervisors, instructors, and anyone who delivers on-the-job training to new or incumbent employees. Training topics include coaching, communications, conflict resolution, developing training methodology, and training adult learners. At the end of the training session, participants will test for the NIMS OJT Trainer credential, a nationally-recognized, portable skills credential.
Students should have high school diploma or equivalent. Experience as an on-the-job trainer or training supervisor helpful.
Open enrollment, open exit. Students may enroll at any time. Minimum 3 students, maximum 15 students per class.
