A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Industrial Maintenance. Possess the Silver and Gold SACA Certifications that are part of the course. Associate Degree.

The Vincennes University Fundamentals of Industrial Maintenance program is an accelerated 8-week (292.5 hour) program to prepare trainees for employment in industrial maintenance or machine service. The training provides hands-on experience in AC/DC electrical components, electric motor controls, variable frequency drives, electronic sensors, PLC’s, industrial safety, conveyors, industrial wiring, pneumatic systems, and basic mechanical systems with an emphasis on print reading and troubleshooting. Those completing this program will be prepared to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues on industrial equipment such as CNC machine tools, conveyors, robots, and other automated equipment. The opportunity to earn the following industry recognized certifications from the Smart Automation Certification Alliance is included with the course: C-201 Electrical Systems 1, C-202 Electric Motor Control Systems 1, C-203 Variable Frequency Drive Systems 1, C-204 Motor Control Troubleshooting 1, C-209 Pneumatic Systems 1, and C-210 Mechanical Power Systems 1.
