AAMP is a State of Indiana INTraining approved, SEAL accredited, job training program that prepares individuals to fill vacant positions with our area’s advanced manufacturers. Designed in collaboration with our industry and educational partners, the program targets underserved populations including unemployed, underemployed, transitioning veterans, and re-entry from incarceration. Prior to program admission, all candidates pass through an intensive screening process including achieving Level 3 on the ACT WorkKeys exam, national background checks, and multiple interviews. Selected candidates progress through a four-week, 160-hour training experience, developing the hard and soft skills employers need and demand, while compensated at $15 per hour. Participants must pass drug screens at the beginning, end and random times during the program. Graduates earn a variety of industry recognized credentials led by qualified instructors from Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University, Purdue Polytechnic University and the Center for Employee Development of Jackson MI.
