Overall Course Description:
Medical Assistant training program provides hands-on instruction to help prepare you for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam offered by the National Health Career Association (NHA).

Course Design
There are 22 independent courses all with embedded quizzes and tests. Content in this training program is presented in the recommended course sequence. Upon competition of Medical Assistant training students may sit for accreditation testing National Health Career Association (NHA).

Prior to registration, all candidates must provide a copy of a criminal background check (CBC) within the last 6 months. Applicants with a conviction may be accepted into the program, however eligibility to sit for the state Competency Exam will be at the discretion of the state. A waiver will be needed for the application to be approved.
