- Commission on Accrediation of Rehabilition Facilities (CARF) certified for treatment-

- Affiliate board member of International Credentialing & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC)

- Indiana Administrative code approved to provide continuing education units

- Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) approved credentialing provider

It is encouraged participants attend the MHAI SWD Training Institue Recovery Support fundamentals course (or CCAR Recovery Caoch Academy if completed prior to July 1st, 2024) prior to this training yet it is not required. There are pre-requisites to obtain the Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach (CAPRC) or Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) credential that this educational training isa requriement of, that includes a high school diploma or equivalent state certificate. Note: the CAPRC credential is for persons in PERSONAL recovery from substance use, mental illness or co-occurring disorders.

The CARC is for persons NOT in personal recovery (family memerbs, loved ones, allies etc.)
