QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ Years of Industry Experience. Experience leading and teaching in a shop environment.LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Must be eligible through the Indiana Department of Education for a CTE Trade Industrial: Welding 5-12, or Workplace Specialist: Welding 9-12 licensure. Candidate must have verifiable occupational experience in a related field meeting 6,000 hours (3 years experience) in the last five years OR 4,000 hours in the past 10 years with one of the following: Welding Certifications Completion of an accredited 2-year or higher degree in the specific certification area Completion of an apprenticeship or internship program

There are no prerequisites but students must be fully committed to attending all days in succession. Due to the intensity of the course, students who miss one day will not be eligible to certify.

Applications and interviews are on a rolling basis and students are placed into appropiate cohorts based on their needs.
