Program faculty at a minimum must be Certified as an NCCER Craft Instructor and Craft Performance Evaluator and credentials must verified throughNCCER National Regristry.
This training uses National Center of Construction Education and Research and a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculums. The Core Curriculum allows trainees to learn the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area, studying modules such as Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Introduction to Hand Tools, Introduction to Power Tools, Introduction to Construction Drawings, Basic Communication Skills, Basic Employability Skills, and Introduction to Materials Handling. The coarse duration depends on the needs of the trainee; on average, time of completion is 12 weeks with 96 hours of instructional and hand-on learning.
Application deadlines are December 1 for the January enrollment, March 1 for the April enrollment, June 1, for the July enrollment, and September 1 for the October enrollment.
