Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS)Dental Assisting Certification held for 10 years, Expanded Function Dental Assistant Certification, National Dental Assistant Cetification (DANB), Surgical Assistant for general anesthesia cases.
A hybrid dental assisting course,15% online and 85% hands on, held in a actual dental office on Saturdays from 8-5 for 12weeks to include 2 weeks of externship. A program that is designed to get the student trained and working in a third of the time as other 9 month courses. It is an outcomes based program where competency skills are stressed and practiced. Students will have clinical rotations within their program which will expose them to the full spectrum of dental procedures in an actual patient based enviorment.
Student must be able to commit to coming to class, not tardy, completing reading assignments, attending all lab classes and have the drive and desire to complete the program.
Classes will begin every 12 weeks. The first class starts June 19, 2021. applicants may apply until classes are full. Normal class size is 22 students, however during the pandemic class size is limited to 14 students.
