Health Care Port confirms each instructors’ academic background and work experience to ensure they are qualified to teach in the program.

Education and experience include, but are not limited to, certificates and/or degrees from postsecondary institutions; certifications from industry-recognized agencies, and practical work experience in, or in a field closely related to, the career fields the program prepares students to enter.

5 years experience or Bachelors Degree in psychology, education, speech, theology or other related field preferred; Instructors must have the required education and experience to appropriately teach the program content.

1. 18(+) years old with a high school education or equivalent.
2. Passed criminal background check.
3. Passed abuse registry check.
