National Certified Phlebotomist, Certified Medical Assistant, National Certified Phlebotomy Instructor
This (200) clock-hour entry-level program. (150) hours of Theory and Lab, (50) hours of Clinical Experience. Our program prepares entry-level students to draw blood from patients using different medical devices such as lancets, multi-draw needles, syringes, and winged devices (aka butterfly needles). This program includes the basic anatomy and physiology of the body. Specimen collection and handling, safety and universal precaution procedures, and applicable standards and regulations of the allied health field. The purpose of this program is to prepare entry-level students for an entry-level position as well-rounded Phlebotomists.
